Government and Industrial Collaboration to Create World Trend.

Robotics is a key area that the University is actively investing in for integrative cross-disciplinary research. It is also an area needed by industries, and can support relevant research actively promoted by the government's industrial policies. Taiwan is somewhat behind in this area of research. However, the University has top-notch researchers in machinery, electrical engineering, electronics and information, and is most qualified with the resources and potential for developing such integrated research.
To enhance international competitiveness and catch up with global research and development trends, research talents must be actively pursued and closely integrated.
Therefore, the Master's Degree Program in Robotics is established to cultivate advanced research and development robotics talents, with the expectation that they  become Taiwan's top robotics teaching and research institutions in the world.
